THE SKED’S WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 6/26/13

Big Brother wasn’t so big last night.

Daily Comparison 2013 Wed Jun 26

CBS:  BIG BROTHER premiered with a 2.1 preliminary adult 18-49 rating last night, down half a point from the 2.6 rating last year when it premiered in its more traditional post-Independence Day position on July 12, and tied its lowest premiere ever 5 years ago.  THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION stayed even at 1.2 in its new 9PM slot, tying a 10PM rerun of CRIMINAL MINDS.

FOX:  Gordon Ramsey continues to deliver for FOX, as the back-to-back two-hour combo of MASTERCHEF was up 7% from So You Think You Can Dance last year in the same time period, with both hours up 0.1 from last week to 2.1/2.4, the latter being last night’s top network show.

ABC:  The final episode of HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE) crawled out with a series low 0.9, still better than the 0.7 for a new episode of FAMILY TOOLS.  At 10PM, THE LOOKOUT had a 0.9.  The network’s highest rated show of the night was its rerun of MODERN FAMILY with 1.1.

NBC:  The night’s highlight was 1.2 for DATELINE.

CW:  Reruns at 0.4/0.4.

After 2 weeks off for basketball, the ABC line-up of WIPEOUT, MOTIVE and ROOKIE BLUE returns tonight.  The only other network with fresh programming is FOX.
