First, our abject apologies. We were working from inaccurate ratings numbers this morning when this was first posted, and consequently our charts were off. We’ll try to make sure that doesn’t happen again. Here were last night’s real results:
NBC: A post-tornado Oklahoma City benefit concert HEALING IN THE HEARTLAND was less than an event with a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo. However, as one might expect from a country music-laden show, it overperformed with the older-skewing total viewers metric, watched by over 8.5M people. The night started with a 1.6 for DATELINE, and a CHICAGO FIRE rerun ended the evening with a 0.9.
FOX: MASTERCHEF won the night with 2.2, steady from its season premiere last week.
CBS: The launch of THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION was a disastrous 1.0, at or below the 1.0/1.1 from two reruns that followed.
ABC: The start of THE LOOKOUT didn’t fare much better with a 1.1, below the 1.3 for the new episode of HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS… that preceded it. Both, however, did better than the fresh episode of FAMILY TOOLS at 8:30PM, which managed only a 1.0. The night was rounded out with a pair of 1.0/1.4 reruns.
CW: Reruns at 0.4/0.4.
ABC, NBC and FOX have plenty of new material tonight, but the oddity is on CBS, where last season’s finale of MIKE & MOLLY will finally premiere amid reruns, having been pushed from its original airdate because its storyline involves a tornado.
