Tonight, a rarity: new Saturday night series programming! FOX premieres the Latin dance talent-search series Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN from (not so incidentally) producer and Idol co-host Jennifer Lopez. It’s not clear why ABC cares about bragging rights to Saturdays, but the network will try to blunt Q’Viva with an all-new 2-hour 20/20. NBC continues its sad burn-off of THE FIRM. Sunday is so crammed with original programming, sweeps might as well be going on. The major event, of course, is ABC’s premiere of GCB (see Mitch Metcalf’s ratings prediction).
