Even with finales on hand, nothing stirred viewers.
FOX: THE FINDER aired what turned out to be its series finale and FRINGE had its season finale, with a respective 1.1 and 1.0, up very slightly for both.
CBS: A night of underperforming season finales. UNDERCOVER BOSS took a big hit, down 0.4 to 1.1, and CSI NY wasn’t much stronger, dropping 0.3 to the same 1.1. BLUE BLOODS held better, down only 0.1 to 1.3.
ABC: The winner of the night and every hour, even though SHARK TANK and 20/20 were both down (to 1.6 and 1.4). PRIMETIME was up slightly to 1.6.
NBC: No excitement here, either. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE slipped to 0.8, GRIMM fell 0.2 to 1.2. DATELINE managed to hold even at 1.3.
CW: The network is apparently OK with NIKITA‘s 0.4, since the show was renewed yesterday. SUPERNATURAL justified its existence far more clearly with a 0.7.
Tonight FOX airs NASCAR, ABC offers a run of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3, and NBC’s burn-off of THE FIRM will never end. The highest rating of the night is likely to be SNL with guest host Will Ferrell and musical guest Usher (look for our review late tonight). Tomorrow’s presumed big event is the 2-hour series finale of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (following the season finale of ONCE UPON THE TIME), which will face off against the season finale of SURVIVOR.

>FRINGE needs another timeline.FOX: FRINGE fell back to a 1.0, which looks even worse because Grimm was up this week, making last week’s tie a dim memory. Still, these aren’t very different from the numbers that got the show renewed last season, so it’s not dead yet. THE FINDER, on…

THE SKED FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5/25/12
Hey, what’s on the DVR? ABC: On a night of across-the-board repeats, ABC was the only network to top a 1.0 rating, with 20/20 (1.4) and PRIMETIME (1.2). SHARK TANK did around a 1.0. CBS: UNDERCOVER BOSS, CSI NY and BLUE BLOODS were all around 0.8-1.0. NBC: WHO DO YOU…

Not a lot of support for scripted programming. ABC: The Alphabet took the night, winning each hour with its unscripted trio of SHARK TANK (2.0, the highest rated show of the night), PRIMETIME (1.6) and 20/20 (1.4). CBS: Some of last week’s bump from the elimination of Made In Jersey…
