THE SKED’S MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD 3/4/13

CBS reruns don’t change much for the other networks.

FOX:  Last night’s THE FOLLOWING felt a lot like an episode of 24, and parts of it were borderline ludicrous, but it was the game-changer the series needed, allowing it to broaden its canvas from here on.  In CBS’s absence, it was the highest-rated show of the night, although just even with last week at 2.8.  BONES started the night down 0.1 at 2.2.

NBC:  THE BIGGEST LOSER and DECEPTION were each down 0.1 to 2.1 and 1.1 respectively.

ABC:  THE BACHELOR was down 0.2 to 2.7, and a CASTLE rerun took the 10PM hour with 1.4.

CBS:  Not surprisingly, surrounded as it was by repeats, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT hit a season low 2.2, down half a point from last week.  The sitcom reruns were steady with 1.6 for HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and 1.7 for both 2 BROKE GIRLS and MIKE & MOLLY, followed by 1.3 for HAWAII 5-0.

CW:  THE CARRIE DIARIES edged up to a still-undistinguished 0.5, then the canceled 90210 had a 0.3.

Tonight is mostly new for all the networks, and likely to be dominated by a special 2-hour AMERICAN IDOL on FOX.  USA airs the season finale of WHITE COLLAR,
