Everyone wanted to see the Mother.

Daily Comparison 2013 Mon May 13

CBS:  The hugely-hyped season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, which included the show’s biggest reveal, flew up 0.8 from last week to a 3.4. That was still below last season’s finale, but it was far higher than the show has done in recent weeks.  The 2 BROKE GIRLS season finale fared less well, up 0.2 from last week to a 2.9 that was below its season average.  MIKE & MOLLY was up a tick to 2.4, and HAWAII 5-0 was down one to 1.8.

NBC:  THE VOICE, airing against the CBS season finales, lost half a point to a season low 3.6.  After that, REVOLUTION slipped 0.1 to 1.9, although it could fall more when final numbers are released.

ABC:  DANCING WITH THE STARS was even at 2.0, and then the season finale of CASTLE rose 0.2 to 2.2.

FOX:  A special HELL’S KITCHEN had a 1.7, in 4th place for the night.

CW:  The 2-hour series finale of 90210 only managed a 0.3, consistent with recent numbers but with no bump for the event.

Tonight’s season finales include NEW GIRL and THE MINDY PROJECT on FOX, as well as NCIS, NCIS LA and GOLDEN BOY on CBS.  FOX starts its evening with the season premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.
