THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7/26/12

Olympics minus 1.

ABC:  Possibly in the belief that its activities qualified for Olympic medals, viewers thronged to WIPEOUT, giving it a 2.2 that was up 0.5 from last week.  ROOKIE BLUE was also up a bit to 1.5, winning its hour, and ABC took the night.

CBS:  The night fell apart at 10PM, when a “preview” of the new reality show 3 only managed a dismal 0.8.  Up that point, everything had scored at least a 2, with the rerun BIG BANG THEORY and new BIG BROTHER at 2.2.

NBC:  Last night’s SAVING HOPE certainly felt like a season finale, but NBC doesn’t seem to have announced that it was.  In any case, it was up slightly to a still-terrible 0.6.  Not that it was out of place with the rest of the network’s evening, highlighted by a 0.8 for ROCK CENTER.

FOX:  TAKE ME OUT ended with a lackluster 1.2, then a GLEE repeat foundered with 0.6.

CW:  Reruns at 0.4/0.2.

For the next 17 nights, the only programming news on the broadcast networks will be NBC’s coverage of the Olympics.  See Mitch Metcalf’s OLYMPICS RATINGS PREDICTIONS today and check his updates every morning during the Games for the latest in Olympics ratings news.
