THE SKED’S THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8/1/13

Except for Big Brother, the dog days of summer have arrived in a big way.

Daily Comparison 2013 Thu Aug 1 three way

CBS:  BIG BROTHER held last week’s 2.5 rating.  As usual, THE BIG BANG THEORY towered over the night’s other reruns, this week with a 2.1–a number many sitcoms would be happy to get with a first-run episode.

ABC:  WIPEOUT got the night off to an OK start by rising 0.2 to 1.2, but then MOTIVE and ROOKIE BLUE were at season lows, 0.8 and 1.0 respectively.

NBC:  THE WINNER IS (0.9) and HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT (1.2) were both at series lows.

FOX:  Reruns, at 0.5-0.7.

CW:  An interruption in summer reruns for the YOUNG HOLLYWOOD AWARDS sparked no interest with a 0.3.

A dead Friday lies ahead, with only a few fresh newsmagazine hours.  Saturday includes some primetime soccer on FOX, and WRESTLEMANIA on NBC.  On Sunday, are you ready for some football?  The preseason gets underway for NBC’s SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL with the Hall of Fame Game, pitting Dallas against Miami.  It’ll face off against the season premiere of SECRET MILLIONAIRE on ABC.  Sunday cable will include season finales for THE KILLING on AMC and FALLING SKIES on TNT.
