THE SKED’S TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3/12/13

With the NCIS shows in reruns, only one series even reached a 2 last night.

FOX:  The season premiere of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES was at 2.2, down a very reasonable 0.2 from last year and the highest-rated show on a slow night.

ABC:  CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP edged up to 1.6, but the finale of THE TASTE hit a new low at 1.1, and BODY OF PROOF tied its low 1.2.

CBS:  The network can be heartened a bit by the 1.6 for GOLDEN BOY, which won its hour (albeit without much punch), since it proved last week’s awful Friday rating was a blip and held even despite having a rerun lead-in for the first time.  The reruns of NCIS and its spinoff were both at 1.9, in second place for each hour only to FOX.

NBC:  The first two hours of the night were essentially all reruns (one of the OFF THE ROCKERS was a clip show), and all did 0.7-1.0.  Both Off the Rockers were nonetheless above the new SMASH with its 0.9 (up 0.1).

CW:  Reruns at twin 0.2s.

With the exception of AMERICAN IDOL and SURVIVOR, the only new shows tonight are WHITNEY and THE NEIGHBORS, so a good night to seek out the excellent THE AMERICANS on FX.
