SEASON TO DATE through seven full weeks (46 nights of official ratings and 3 nights of adjusted fast nationals), NBC is averaging a 2.85 rating in prime time (up 23% from the same period last year).

CBS is in second place with a 2.33 (down 20%).

FOX is in third place with a 2.23 (down 30%).

ABC is in fourth with a 2.14 (down 9%).

Collectively, the four networks total a 9.55 rating (down 11% from 10.78 the same period last fall).

The CW, technically a broadcast network, is averaging a 0.58 in prime so far this season (down 21%).

THE WEEK.  For the just completed week only (November 5-11, 2012), NBC is pacing toward a strong 3.24 (above its season prime time average because of dominant Election Night coverage and three nights of The Voice Monday, Wednesday and Thursday).  ABC also had a strong week, heading toward a 2.27 rating (above its season average and more notably ahead of CBS and FOX for the week).  Election Night was not kind to CBS and FOX, and the extra Voice hours hurt an already ailing X Factor.  CBS should finish the week with a 2.18, while FOX is headed for 2.15.
