THE SKED: “Pretty Little Liars” Premieres Strong; Jury Out On “Twisted”

ABCFamily had a big night on Tuesday with the Season 4 premiere of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, which had a 1.3 rating in 18-49s and 2.9M viewers, with even bigger numbers in the network’s target demos (4.1 in Females 12-34, 6.6 in Female Teens, 3.2 in Women 18-34 and 2.1 in Women 18-49).  The target demo numbers were appreciably higher than the show’s Season 3 premiere.

It’s hard to know what to make of last night’s numbers for the new TWISTED, which followed Pretty Little Liars.  Although the figures weren’t terribly impressive, with 0.5 in 18-49s, 0.8 in 18-34s and a 2.0 in Women 18-34, this wasn’t strictly speaking the series premiere, as the pilot had originally aired in March after the Liars Season 3 finale.  Last night’s rerun scored higher than the original run had, but we won’t really know till next week where Twisted stands.
