NBC: The regular Friday line-up got off to a solid start. GRIMM, at 1.8, was just about where the show had been last spring (and up 0.2 from last season’s finale). The better news was that DRACULA looks to be as compatible with Grimm as the network had hoped, holding that 1.8 for a second hour and winning at 10PM. The night started with 1.3 for DATELINE, even with last week.
CW: There was no viewer enthusiasm for the return of THE CARRIE DIARIES, which matched the series low at 0.3 and was down 0.1 from last season’s finale. An IHEARTRADIO KATY PERRY special was even worse at 0.2.
ABC: Sitcom reruns in the 8PM hour at 1.0/0.7 didn’t hurt SHARK TANK, which held as the highest-rated show of the night at 2.0. 20/20 was up 0.3 to 1.5, the only newsmagazine at 10PM now that Dateline has moved.
CBS: The new NBC competition didn’t hurt CBS’s scripted lineup. Although UNDERCOVER BOSS was down 0.2 to 1.6, both HAWAII 5-0 and BLUE BLOODS were steady at a respective 1.4/1.3.
FOX: MASTERCHEF JR was up 0.1 to 1.4, and then a pair of THE SIMPSONS reruns were at 0.8/0.7.
Game 3 of the WORLD SERIES airs on FOX tonight, against college football on ABC and the usual whatever on the other networks. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE features host Edward Norton and musical guest Janelle Monae.

THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 10/4/13
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING rose 0.2 from last week to 1.4, enough to tie it for 1st place in the timeslot on a sleepy Friday night. But THE NEIGHBORS is probably just playing out its string, with no bump from last week’s 1.0. SHARK TANK was down 0.2 to…

THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 10/18/13
Whatever Undercover Boss did last night, it should do that again. CBS: On a mostly quiet network night, UNDERCOVER BOSS zoomed by half a ratings point to 1.8–not quite the biggest show of the evening, but close. The rest of the line-up didn’t fare as well, as both HAWAII…
