Whatever Undercover Boss did last night, it should do that again.
CBS: On a mostly quiet network night, UNDERCOVER BOSS zoomed by half a ratings point to 1.8–not quite the biggest show of the evening, but close. The rest of the line-up didn’t fare as well, as both HAWAII 5-0 and BLUE BLOODS slipped 0.1 to a respective 1.4/1.3.
ABC: The line-up was modestly up: LAST MAN STANDING, THE NEIGHBORS and 20/20 by 0.1 (to 1.3/1.0/1.2) and SHARK TANK by 0.2 to 1.9.
FOX: MASTERCHEF JR fell 0.2 to 1.2, followed by 0.8 for a SLEEPY HOLLOW rerun.
NBC: A 2-hour DATELINE was up 0.1 to 1.3, after 0.8/0.7 for sitcom reruns.
CW: A rerun of the REIGN premiere didn’t get much interest at 0.3, then AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was even at 0.4.
Saturday night primetime is great if you love sports: college football on NBC and ABC, and playoff baseball on FOX. Starz airs the finale of its THE WHITE QUEEN miniseries, and starts DANCING ON THE EDGE. Sunday brings a full boat of regular line-ups except at FOX, which will either air Game 7 of the playoffs or (if there is no Game 7) animation reruns.
