NETWORK UPDATE: All the moves were of 0.1, with the LEGO SIMPSONS, ONCE UPON A TIME, RESURRECTION and DATELINE on the positive end and THE GOOD WIFE on the negative.
SATURDAY CABLE: ORPHAN BLACK (BBCA) dropped 0.1 to 0.2, and DAVINCI’S DEMONS (Starz) had an 0.1 in its 1/3 of US homes.
SUNDAY: It’s been a week since the last GAME OF THRONES ratings record, so… time for another, as the blockbuster notched a 3.9 despite airing in only 1/3 of US homes. (GAME added 0.6 with its 11:30PM reairing.) SILICON VALLEY took a nice 0.2 hop to 1.0, while VEEP and LAST WEEK TONIGHT stayed at 0.5. MAD MEN (AMC) gained 0.1 to 0.8, but TURN remained at a sickly 0.3. DEVIOUS MAIDS (Lifetime) lost 0.1 to 0.6, the same as its lead-in DROP DEAD DIVA. On Showtime, NURSE JACKIE and CALIFORNICATION were again at 0.2, but that’s somewhat misleading, since JACKIE was at 0.24 and CALIFORNICATION at 0.16. Both towered over the last episode of YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, which wound up its run at a steady 0.04. The newly-renewed SALEM (WGN America) remained at 0.2. Despite all the prestige shows airing on Sundays, the highest-rated series behind GAME OF THRONES was still REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA at 1.9, with the rest of the Bravo line-up following: WATCH WHAT HAPPENS at 1.7, and MARRIED TO MEDICINE at 1.0.
With the exceptions of a Simpsons stunt, there wasn’t much movement from last Sunday’s numbers.
FOX: THE SIMPSONS went LEGO, and it paid off, as the show climbed 0.3 from last week to to 1.9. The rest of the night was more stable: BOB’S BURGERS was steady at 1.1, both AMERICAN DAD and FAMILY GUY rose 0.1 (to 1.3 and 2.2, respectively), and COSMOS gained 0.2 to 1.6.
ABC: The season finale of RESURRECTION edged up 0.1 to 2.0. Earlier, AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS stayed at 1.6 , ONCE UPON A TIME lost 0.2 to 2.0, and REVENGE held at 1.3 (although it started at 10:01PM, so that number might shift).
CBS: 60 MINUTES opened the night on a down note, dropping 0.3 to 1.0. THE AMAZING RACE followed by falling 0.2 to 1.7, THE GOOD WIFE lost 0.1 to 1.2, and THE MENTALIST continued to tie its series low 1.2.
NBC: After 0.5 for AMERICAN DREAM BUILDERS (down 0.1), DATELINE, BELIEVE and CRISIS were all steady and identical at 1.0.
It’s a busy night on Monday, with the marquee event being FOX’s premiere of 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, which could shake up the night. (Fun fact: just 4 years ago, on May 24, 2010, 24 was canceled with a 2.7 rating for its series finale, which was actually down 0.3 from the week before–numbers that FOX, not to mention any other network, would kill for these days.) There are also season finales for 2 BROKE GIRLS, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE and BATES MOTEL, as well as the season premiere of LOUIE on FX.

The Sked: SUNDAY Ratings
Sunday preliminary broadcast ratings: 60 Minutes and the CBS 7:00-7:30 half hour specifically inflated by 10 minutes of the end of Masters coverage from 7:00-7:10 pm (mostly the monumentally awkward and amazingly tense ceremony in “Butler Cabin,” where the Green Jacket is awarded).
