CW: THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, not so long ago its network’s flagship series, opened its season at a far from immortal 0.6, down 0.3 from last fall’s debut. THE ORIGINALS didn’t benefit from its new night, premiering at 0.4, also down 0.3 from 2014.
ABC: GREY’S ANATOMY, SCANDAL and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER all dropped 0.2 from last week to a respective 2.1, 2.6 and 2.1.
NBC: HEROES REBORN fell another 0.4 to 1.2. THE BLACKLIST lost 0.3 to 1.5. THE PLAYER slipped 0.1 to 0.9.
FOX: BONES edged down 0.1 to 1.3, and SLEEPY HOLLOW was steady at 1.0.
CBS: THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL had a preliminary 3.4, a big step down from last week’s early 5.0.
REIGN and the newly-live UNDATEABLE each takes up its new Friday 8PM slot tonight, with UNDATEABLE airing a 1-hour premiere.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
