NETWORK UPDATE:  THE MIDDLE, ROSEWOOD, ARROW and SURVIVOR gained 0.1 in final numbers (in other words, every 8PM show except MYSTERIES OF LAURA), but SVU went 0.1 in the other direction.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL was dominant and up 0.01 from last week to 1.41.  It’s also worth noting that with the exception of 50+ viewers, the show appeals to all demos, male and female and 12-54, making it particularly valuable for advertisers (and thus its network/studio).  Discovery’s ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE dropped 0.19 to 0.99, and MEN WOMEN WILD fell 0.04 to 0.41.  On Comedy Central, SOUTH PARK was down 0.07 to 0.82, and MOONBEAM CITY downticked to 0.24.  ESPN’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.69/0.55, apparently lacking the appeal of last week’s 0.81/0.76 games.  MTV aired 2 episodes of ARE YOU THE ONE at 0.57/0.53, up from last week’s 0.43, and stronger with the F12-34 demo (1.25/1.18) than with males the same age (0.46/0.40), which was followed by a THE CHALLENGE special at 0.35.  Nickelodeon’s 5PM ALVIN!!! AND THE CHIPMUNKS hit the Top 10 with 0.55, and may benefit in the next weeks from the upcoming movie.  Cartoon Network also reached the Top 10 with ADVENTURE TIME at 0.45.  On Food Network, CUTTHROAT SABOTAGE was down a hundredth to 0.43, following a CLASH OF THE GRANDMAS special at 0.33, and MYSTERY DINERS dropped a tenth to 0.22.  History aired an AMERICAN PICKERS clip show at 0.39.  Bravo’s MILLION DOLLAR LISTING rose 0.06 to 0.37, and UNTYING THE KNOT was at 0.15.  VH1’s COUPLES THERAPY gained 0.03 to 0.31.  On FXX, THE LEAGUE ticked up to 0.24, and YOU’RE THE WORST was also up 0.01 to 0.13.  On Syfy, PARANORMAL WITNESS lost a hundredth to 0.21, and GHOST HUNTERS, while listed as a rerun, had the same 0.19 rating as last week, which is odd (it also had 412K total viewers).  BET’s THE WESTBROOKS slipped 0.03 to 0.17.  Even with our expanded chart, DAM’s IMPACT WRESTLING (for the moment–the show is moving to POP in January) didn’t make the list, falling 0.02 to 0.05 at 9PM, with 202K total viewers; it added 0.03/78K at midnight.  RING OF HONOR lost 0.01 to 0.04 with 114K viewers.
