BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  After a rerun AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS at 0.46, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD dropped 0.05 to 0.52, THE $100,000 PYRAMID ticked up to 0.45, and THE FINAL STRAW was up a tick to 0.30.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER fell 0.12 to 0.79.  The remaining line-up had reruns at 0.35/0.23/0.20.

NBC:  After GYMNASTICS at 0.21, a rerun of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was also at 0.21.

FOX:  A PRESEASON NFL game was at 0.65.

CW:  Reruns at 0.03/0.07/0.07.

TELEMUNDO:  Movies at 0.24/0.22.

UNIVISION:  AQUI Y AHORA gained 0.02 to 0.20, RETADOR rose 0.07 to 0.31, and TU CREES was up 0.08 to 0.21.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The series premiere of HBO’s HOUSE OF THE DRAGON arrived at 0.55.  That’s unquestionably a big number for scripted television on a linear network (0.08 higher than the series finale of BETTER CALL SAUL, which was available in roughly 3x as many cable households), but it’s difficult to find another apple to precisely compare it with.  The rating is a tiny shadow of the 5.78 for the GAME OF THRONES finale in 2019, but that was a mammoth event in a different TV era.  According to HBO, the bulk of the 10M same-day viewership for DRAGON was via HBO Max, giving the show the largest premiere audience in the history of HBO as an entity, and about half of the THRONES finale viewership.  (As usual, there was no demo information for the streaming numbers.)  LAST WEEK TONIGHT, which followed a rerun of the DRAGON premiere, was up only 0.02 from last week to 0.14.

Elsewhere in scripted, TNT’s penultimate ANIMAL KINGDOM ticked down to 0.13.  Hallmark’s CHESAPEAKE SHORES slipped 0.02 to 0.11.  Adult Swim’s TUCA & BERTIE ticked down to 0.10.  AMC’s TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD dropped 0.02 to 0.07.  Starz’s POWER BOOK 3: RAISING KANAN fell 0.04 to 0.07.  Showtime preempted most of its line-up for a run of the movie JACKASS FOREVER (at 0.02), leaving the out-of-timeslot season finale of FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS at a sadly steady zero/10K.

USA’s NASCAR race was at 0.42, and PREMIER LEAGUE matches were at 0.25/0.17.  On TLC, 90 DAY FIANCE edged up 0.02 to 0.40 (after-show down 0.02 to 0.15), and I LOVE A MAMA’S BOY ticked down to 0.22.  NFL Network’s PRESEASON NFL games were at 0.36/0.34.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA ticked down to 0.30, and MARRIED TO MEDICINE was up 0.02 to 0.18.  ESPN’s MLB SUNDAY NIGHT game was at 0.26.  Discovery’s NAKED & AFRAID fell 0.05 to 0.16.  Food Network’s ALEX VS AMERICA dipped 0.02 to 0.12.  On A&E, WWE LEGENDS dropped 0.04 to 0.11, WWE RIVALS shed 0.05 to 0.08, and WWE SMACK TALK ticked down to 0.04.  On HGTV, BEACHFRONT BARGAIN HUNT ticked up to 0.10, and ISLAND LIFE was at 0.09.  On ID, THE KILLER NANNY was at 0.10/0.09/0.08.  On History, COLOSSEUM held at 0.08, and CRAZY RICH ANCIENTS was steady at 0.06.
