BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  The season premiere of GENERATION GAP was at 0.35, and the season premiere of THE CHASE was at 0.30.  A rerun followed at 0.25.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.32/0.21/0.16/0.14.

NBC:  THE BLACKLIST gained 0.04 to 0.25, followed by reruns at 0.18/0.13.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.15/0.10.

CW:  Reruns at 0.04/0.03.

TELEMUNDO:  TOP CHEF VIP grew by 0.03 to 0.22, BETTY EN NY rose 0.04 to 0.16, and SECRETOS DE SANGRE was up a tick to 0.12.

UNIVISION:  COPA ORO matches were at 0.38/0.71, outrating everything on broadcast and cable linear TV.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  TUDN’s share of COPA ORO was at 0.20/0.10.  TNT’s THE MATCH was at 0.20 (simulcasts on HLN at 0.04 and on Tru at 0.03).  On A&E, THE FIRST 48 gained 0.03 to 0.16, 60 DAYS IN edged up 0.02 to 0.15, and BOOKED ticked up to 0.12.  On Food Network, BEAT BOBBY FLAY was up 0.02 to 0.13, and OUTCHEF’D rose 0.04 to 0.12.  Cable news was led by Fox News’s THE FIVE at 0.12/0.20/2.4M, with CNN’s ANDERSON COOPER 360 at 0.09/0.11/700K, and MSNBC’s ALL IN WITH CHRIS HAYES at 0.08/0.11/1.3M.  ESPN’s MLB ALL-STAR SELECTION special was at 0.12.  Bravo’s PROJECT RUNWAY climbed 0.02 to 0.12.  Fox Sports 1’s CONCACAF matches were at 0.11/0.06.  HGTV’s CHRISTINA ON THE COAST was at 0.10, and REVEALED was at 0.08.  TBS’s I SURVIVED BEAR GRYLLS grew by 0.03 to 0.10.  Adult Swim’s UNICORN WARRIORS slipped 0.02 to 0.09.  History’s ALONE ticked up to 0.09.  ID’s A TIME TO KILL was up 0.02 to 0.08.  We’s BRAT LOVES JUDY was steady at 0.06.  AXS’s IMPACT WRESTLING was at 0.02.  MTV’s ALL-STAR SHORE was at 0.02.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE. As you know, this our final TV ratings post. For the record, this is post #14,448 in the history of the site. We are definitely feeling nostalgic around here today. In that spirit, here’s post #1: a review of the movie BATTLE LOS ANGELES. The film has not stood the test of time, but the review certainly has. And here’s our first TV post: a preview of the Thursday night broadcast schedules back in 2011. Note the chart with our projected A18-49 ratings. Yes, those are ratings not shares. It is worth noting that both posts were written by Mitch Salem. This site has been a true team effort over the years, but Salem has written most of the prose here. Much respect for his talents and really hard work at the keyboard.

Finally, thank you for stopping by for your daily ratings fix all these years. Out of sheer habit, I almost drafted a post about the anticipated ratings delays caused by July 4th next week. The silver lining is that those annoying national holiday disruptions are not our problem anymore. But next week I certainly will miss the numbers and this community of linear television fans in equal measure.  Thanks again.
