NETWORK UPDATE:  NOTE–because of NFL PRESEASON preemptions, comparisons are to last Friday’s final ratings, rather than to the Saturday morning preliminaries.  NBC:  the AMERICA’S MOST TALENTED rerun was up 0.02 to 0.08, and DATELINE rose 0.1 to 1.0.  CBS:  the ELEMENTARY and HAWAII 5-0 reruns were steady, at 0.4/0.5, and the BLUE BLOODS rerun fell 0.1 to 0.5.  ABC:  the SHARK TANK rerun and 20/20 were respectively down 0.2 and 0.1 to 0.7s.  FOX:  the MASTERCHEF rerun gained 0.1 to 0.6.  CW:  MASTERS OF ILLUSION fell 0.1 to 0.3.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  NFL Network had the national NFL PRESEASON telecast on Friday (Seattle vs Kansas City), and even though by NFL standards a 0.53 rating is puny, it was enough to take the night.  We’s MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP rose a tenth to 0.48, with lead-out KENDRA ON TOP at 0.33.  Lifetime’s BRING IT was also at 0.48, but for that show it was a 0.02 decline, while its ATLANTA PLASTIC lead-out climbed 0.08 to 0.29.  On Disney, GIRL MEETS WORLD slipped 0.03 to 0.46, and BUNKD gained 0.03 to 0.40.  Discovery’s TREASURE QUEST fell 0.04 to 0.46, and lead-in EDGE OF ALASKA held at 0.46.  A 4PM ALVINNN & THE CHIPMUNKS!!! episode on Nickelodeon gained 0.08 to 0.39.  FOX News’s coverage of a Donald Trump rally cracked the Top 10 at 0.35, which certainly says something about something.  On TNT, COLD JUSTICE jumped 0.12 to 0.31, and COLD JUSTICE: SEX CRIMES almost doubled, up 0.13 to 0.27.  History’s ANCIENT ALIENS gained 0.09 to 0.31.  On Syfy, KILLJOYS didn’t make much of a case for itself with its season finale, up a hundredth to 0.21 but outrated by lead-out DARK MATTER (up 0.05 to 0.26) and lead-in DEFIANCE (up 0.03 to 0.24).  REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER (HBO) lost a tick to 0.19.  STRIKE BACK (Cinemax) stayed at 0.07, with 204K total viewers.  BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK (POP) was at 0.05/150K.
