NETWORK UPDATE:  There was an avalanche of 0.1 drops from preliminary numbers:  CBS’s NFL PRESEASON game, ABC’s SHARK TANK rerun, WHAT WOULD YOU DO and 20/20, NBC’s reruns of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and DATELINE, and CW’s MASTERS OF ILLUSION and PENN & TELLER: FOOL US rerun all faced the same result.  The WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY rerun broke the monotony by falling 0.2.  (Somehow, FOX’s shows were unaffected by the drops afflicting the other networks.)

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Another quiet Friday was good news for Lifetime, which won the night with BRING IT (up 0.05 to 0.53), and had lead-out ATLANTA PLASTIC at #4 (up 0.05 to 0.34).  Food Network’s DINERS, DRIVE-INS & DIVES was at 0.38.  Discovery’s EDGE OF ALASKA dropped a tenth to 0.36.  On TNT, COLD JUSTICE was down a tick to 0.30, and COLD JUSTICE: SEX CRIMES was up a hundredth to 0.28.  Disney’s 9AM DOC MCSTUFFINS made the Top 10 at 0.30, up 0.03 from last week.  MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP (We) fell a heavy 0.22 to 0.26, and lead-out KENDRA ON TOP was down 0.11 to 0.22.  Spike’s BELLATOR MMA LIVE was at 0.26.  On History, ANCIENT ALIENS lost 0.06 to 0.25.  HBO’s REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER rose by 0.05 to 0.24.  Syfy’s DEFIANCE and DARK MATTER remained in lockstep to the end, with DEFIANCE down 0.02 to 0.22, and both halves of the 2-hour DARK MATTER finale down 0.05 to 0.21.  STRIKE BACK (Cinemax) gained 0.03 to 0.10.  BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK (POP) was at 0.05/135K.
