NETWORK FINALS:  Since at this point Nielsen is issuing preliminary ratings and finals simultaneously as they catch up on their missing nights, we’ll skip to the finals and provide analysis here:

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS (1.0) and ONCE UPON A TIME (0.9) held at last week’s numbers.  TIME AFTER TIME was down 0.1 to 0.6, and the season premiere of AMERICAN CRIME was grim at 0.5.

NBC:  After a 0.7 rerun of LITTLE BIG SHOTS, the night’s new episode was down 0.3 to 1.7.  CHICAGO JUSTICE slipped 0.1 to 1.2, and SHADES OF BLUE was also down 0.1 to 0.9.

FOX:  The night started with a 0.7 BOB’S BURGERS rerun, then the night’s new episode held at 0.8.  THE SIMPSONS was steady at 1.1, but MAKING HISTORY fell 0.2 from last week’s premiere to 0.7.  FAMILY GUY (1.1) and THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (0.9) were each down 0.1.

CBS:  60 MINUTES gained 0.1 to 1.2.  NCIS: LA fell 0.2 to 1.1, then MADAM SECRETARY (0.8) and ELEMENTARY (0.6) were steady.

On both broadcast and cable, tonight (Thursday) is notable for the multi-network start of the NCAA TOURNAMENT.  In addition, Comedy Central premieres the final season of REVIEW.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD stabilized, rising 0.17 from last week to 4.88, with TALKING DEAD up 0.19 to 1.75, and COMIC BOOK MEN steady at 0.34.  On E!, the season premiere of KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS provided a 0.70 lead-in (0.18 above last week’s timeslot number) to THE ARRANGEMENT, which nevertheless declined 0.04 to 0.32.  Adult Swim’s SUPERMANSION climbed 0.06 to 0.46.  On Showtime, HOMELAND fell 0.07 to 0.44, and BILLIONS was up 0.04 to 0.31.  On HBO, LAST WEEK TONIGHT lost 0.05 to 0.40, BIG LITTLE LIES was down 0.05 to 0.36, GIRLS rose 0.07 to 0.31, and the just-renewed CRASHING ticked up to 0.17.  FX’s FEUD took a heavy hit with its 2d episode, down a whopping 0.22 to 0.30.  Hallmark’s WHEN CALLS THE HEART remained at 0.21.  On Starz, BLACK SAILS dropped 0.04 to 0.15, and THE MISSING was down 0.01 to 0.03/158K.  

Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA topped unscripted, up a tick to 0.16, with lead-out FIRST FAMILY OF HIP-HOP up 0.02 to 0.44.  ESPN had both NBA and COLLEGE BASKETBALL, the former featuring Cleveland vs. Houston at 0.92, and the latter with Arkansas vs. Kentucky at 0.80. Discovery’s NAKED & AFRAID dropped 0.06 to 0.62.  HGTV’s CARIBBEAN LIFE hit the Top 10 at 0.49/0.48.  Food Network’s SPRING BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP arrived at 0.44/0.42, and GUY’S GROCERY GAMES was steady at 0.35.  On TLC, LONG ISLAND MEDIUM gained 0.05 to 0.39, LONG LOST FAMILY dipped 0.02 to 0.32, and WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE held at 0.24.  ID’s EVIL LIVES HERE, which had jumped up 0.17 last week, dropped 0.14 this week back to 0.33.  Spike’s BAR RESCUE ticked up to 0.32.  Tru’s IMPRACTICAL JOKERS was at 0.26.
