NETWORK FINALS:  SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL adjusted to 7.5, down 1.6 from the premiere Sunday game in 2017.  Elsewhere, REL had a 0.2 football adjustment up to 1.9, BIG BROTHER gained 0.1 in final numbers, while 60 MINUTES and the HAWAII 5-0 and FAMLY GUY reruns lost the same.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The season finale of Starz’s POWER was the highest-rated scripted show on Sunday cable, but at 0.62 (up 0.04 from last week) it was down a big 0.28 from 2017; the network’s AMERICA TO ME fell off the chart, down 0.03 to 0.04/102K.  On Showtime, the season premiere of SHAMELESS was at 0.47, down a hefty 0.26 from 2017, and the series premiere of KIDDING (which has been available via streaming and VOD for about 2 weeks) was lackluster at 0.12.  On Lifetime, the original movie remake of THE BAD SEED was at 0.44, and then the series premiere of YOU was at 0.21.  On TNT, the season premiere of THE LAST SHIP was at 0.24, down from 2017’s 0.34/0.30 2-hour premiere.  On HBO, the season premiere of THE DEUCE was at 0.16, down 0.08 from the 2017 season premiere, and down 0.05 from the Season 1 finale; its lead-outs were BALLERS (down 0.05 to 0.28), INSECURE (up 0.04 to 0.23), and the first LAST WEEK TONIGHT in several weeks at 0.30.  Elsewhere in scripted, AMC’s FEAR THE WALKING DEAD gained 0.09 to 0.57, and TALKING DEAD was steady at 0.17.  BET’s BLACK GIRLS ROCK! special was at 0.29.  Adult Swim’s VENTURE BROTHERS lost 0.04 to 0.27.  Hallmark’s CHESAPEAKE SHORES rose 0.03 to 0.19. 

TLC led unscripted with 90 DAY FIANCE, up 0.04 to 0.62, and UNEXPECTED was up 0.05 to 0.35.  VH1’s BASKETBALL WIVES climbed 0.11 to 0.51.  On E!, KEEPING UP THE KARDASHIANS returned from a holiday break at 0.49, and it was followed by the premiere of ASHLEE & EVAN at 0.21.  ESPN’s US OPEN coverage was at 0.42.  Discovery’s ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE gained 0.03 to 0.39.  HGTV’s line-up was led by BEACHFRONT BARGAIN HUNT at 0.33/0.31, compared to last week’s 0.25/0.22.  On Food Network, WORST COOKS IN AMERICA grew by 0.04 to 0.30.  On ID, ON THE CASE rose 0.06 to 0.30, and AMERICAN MONSTER was up 0.07 to 0.27.  Bravo’s MARRIED TO MEDICINE rose 0.05 to 0.30.  MTV’s RIDICULOUSNESS was at 0.28/0.28/0.21/0.20, compared to last week’s 0.27/0.26/0.25/0.24.
