SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Friday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 11.7.2014

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  SHARK TANK gained 0.1 in final Friday ratings, and BLUE BLOODS dropped 0.1.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

GOLD RUSH (Discovery) jumped up two-tenths from last week to lead Friday cable at 1.27, and its lead-out EDGE OF ALASKA was up 0.08 to 0.59.  ESPN’s NBA games were down substantially, from last week’s 1.70/1.31 to this week’s 1.15/0.60.  WWE (Syfy) climbed 0.11 to 0.68; its lead-in HAVEN ticked up to 0.20, and lead-out Z NATION grew by 0.09 to 0.47.  Both episodes of KENDRA ON TOP (We) were up 0.06 to 0.41.  REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER (HBO) rose 0.09 to 0.37, with FOO FIGHTERS: SONIC HIGHWAY at 0.17.  ON THE MENU (TNT) more than doubled last week’s score to a still-modest 0.19, although oddly it had only 6000 more total viewers at 415K.  On IFC, COMEDY BANG BANG fell 0.02 to 0.03, with 68K total viewers, and BIRTHDAY BOYS practically disappeared, down 0.02 to 0.01 and with 35K total viewers.
