SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Friday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 3.20.2015

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  There was no adjustment for the GLEE finale, and in fact the only change was a 0.1 dip for the rerun of IZOMBIE’s pilot.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

Friday cable was all about the NCAA TOURNAMENT, as various games on TNT, TBS and Tru took up all of the Top 5 slots, 7 of the Top 10 and 11 of the Top 20.  Highest rated was TNT’s late afternoon game at 1.01.  The strongest non-basketball telecast was Lifetime’s BRING IT, down 0.03 to 0.62, with PREACHER’S DAUGHTERS up 0.05 to 0.39, and an hour of KOSHER SOUL at 0.21/0.17.  Adult Swim’s JACK & TRIUMPH SHOW fell 0.05 to 0.61, but HOT PACKAGE climbed 0.12 to 0.47.  On Discovery, BERING SEA GOLD was down 0.07 to 0.57.  On HBO, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER was off by 0.05 to 0.22, and VICE was steady at 0.19.  Syfy’s 12 MONKEYS was down 0.04 to 0.22, and HELIX fell a tick to 0.18.  THE MTVU WOODIE AWARDS (MTV) was at 0.14.  Here’s the IMPACT WRESTLING report:  at 9PM, it was up 0.02 in 18-49s to 0.10, and up about 65K total viewers to 403K, and in households, up 0.04/43K to 0.27/316K.  The 11PM re-airing added 0.04 in 18-49s, 143K total viewers, and 0.10/114K in households.
