SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Tuesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 4.14.2015

NETWORK UPDATE:  Every 8PM show–THE VOICE, FRESH OFF THE BOAT, NCIS, HELL’S KITCHEN and THE FLASH–went up 0.1 in final numbers.  (In NCIS’s case, that allowed it to avoid a new series low.)  After that, only PERSON OF INTEREST had a 0.1 boost.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

THE DEADLIEST CATCH returned to Discovery and ran away with Tuesday cable with a 1.2 18-49 rating, 50% higher than anything else on the night.  Lead-in DEADLIEST CATCH: THE BAIT was at 0.60.  Elsewhere, Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS fell 0.09 to 0.80, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK ticked up to 0.61, and NEWLYWEDS remained at 0.23.  TLC’s 19 KIDS AND COUNTING was steady at 0.71, with 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS down 0.03 to 0.39.  IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG (OWN) gained 0.06 to 0.70.  On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 was up a hundredth to 0.67, and BRICKLEBERRY dropped 0.02 to 0.31.  BET’s BEING MARY JANE was up 0.02 to 0.65 in the 10PM hour, and had a 0.57 rating at 9PM.  The series finale of JUSTIFIED (FX) had a 0.12 bump to 0.65.  The season finale of SIRENS (USA), however, dipped to 0.02 to 0.30.  Lifetime’s DANCE MOMS held at 0.56, and KIM OF QUEENS gained 0.06 to 0.29.  BOTCHED (E!) was at 0.54.  Both games in TNT’s NBA doubleheader were at 0.50.  MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT (A&E) rose 0.03 to 0.48.  FINDING CARTER (MTV) stabilized, up 0.01 to 0.44 (and up 0.03 to 1.05 in the F12-34 demo).  YOUR FAMILY OR MINE (TBS) fell 0.07 to 0.37.  YOUNGER continued to be simulcast on TV Land and Nick At Nite, and while it was stable on the latter (down 0.01 to 0.20), it plunged on TV Land, down by almost half to 0.11.  The demos are also quite different, as YOUNGER overperforms on Nick At Nite (compared to its 18-49 rating) with the F 12-34 age group, while it shows strength with Men 50+ (actually stronger than its rating with women of the same age) on TV Land.
