Top 25 Cable WED Aug 27 2014

LEGENDS (TNT) had a bad outing, down 0.11 to 0.36.  FRANKLIN & BASH was steadier, down 0.03 to 0.32.  The absence of a SUITS lead-in didn’t seem to affect GRACELAND, up 0.02 to 0.40.  THE BRIDGE (FX) lost some precious hundredths, down 0.03 to 0.29.  On ABCFamily, both YOUNG & HUNGRY and MYSTERY GIRLS were up, by 0.09 to 0.48 and by 0.05 to 0.24 respectively.  HOT IN CLEVELAND (TVLand) dropped 0.04 to 0.15.  Can it be treated as a positive that the season finale of THE DIVIDE (We) almost doubled last week’s rating, even if that was to a puny 0.07?

On the unscripted end of things, TEEN MOM (MTV) fell 0.08, but still had no trouble leading the Wednesday cable ranks at 1.05.  AMERICAN PICKERS (A&E) climbed 0.12 for second place at 0.75,while companion show WAHLBURGERS dropped 0.06 to 0.53.  THE DAILY SHOW (Comedy Central) fell off from Tuesday’s vacation return, but was still strong at 0.64.  AMERICAN RESTORATION (History) was up 0.07 to 0.58 0.46 in its 2d half hour), and BRING IT (Lifetime) grew 0.11 to 0.58.
