The concept of “premiere week” is getting seriously stretched this year by the networks, since NBC, CW and now FOX have announced schedules that launch only a few shows the week of September 24. This is probably a good thing for viewers, as it will allow people to try out shows in a staggered way, rather than having every network’s offerings dumped on the tube in one chunk. The downside, though, is that the shows premiering early will also run out of new episodes earlier, leading to more hiatuses, reruns and preemptions.
In any case, here’s what FOX has planned:
WED SEPT 12
8PM: X FACTOR
THURS SEPT 13
9PM: GLEE
MON SEPT 17
8PM: BONES
9PM: THE MOB DOCTOR
TUES SEPT 25
8PM: NEW GIRL (a special episode airs in the RAISING HOPE slot, with another at the regular time of 9PM)
8:30PM: BEN & KATE
9:30PM: THE MINDY PROJECT
FRI SEPT 27
8PM: KITCHEN NIGHTMARES
9PM: FRINGE
SUN SEPT 30
8PM: THE SIMPSONS
8:30PM: BOB’S BURGERS
9PM: FAMILY GUY
9:30PM: AMERICAN DAD
TUES OCT 2
8PM: RAISING HOPE
SUN OCT 7
7:30PM: THE CLEVELAND SHOW
FRI OCT 26
8PM: TOUCH
