The night’s biggest star was Leah Remini.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: The Season 5 premiere of GRIMM didn’t scare anyone (except maybe NBC), down 0.3 from 2014 to a premiere-low 1.1. It was preceded by a steady 0.7 for UNDATEABLE, and a 0.1 increase for the essentially-canceled TRUTH BE TOLD that put it at 0.7. The night ended with DATELINE down 0.1 to 0.8.
ABC: A post-Scientology interview with Leah Remini made 20/20 the top non-sports show of the night, up half a point to 1.7. Earlier, LAST MAN STANDING and DR. KEN both held at 1.2, and SHARK TANK lost 0.1 to 1.4.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE remained at 1.2. Currently, HAWAII 5-0 is up 0.1 to 1.1 and BLUE BLOODS is down 0.1 to the same, but both shows tend to shift a bit in final numbers.
FOX: WORLD SERIES Game 3 continued the downward trajectory of the Series, down 0.8 from Wednesday’s game to 3.1.
CW: A rerun of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND had the same 0.2 rating that the original run did on Monday, while AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL fell 0.1 to 0.2.
The WORLD SERIES continues tonight, and ABC airs college football. Cable features a pair of creepy-scary premieres, ASH VS. THE EVIL DEAD on Starz, and Season 2 of Sundance’s French-language THE RETURNED.
