On a night dotted with reruns, viewers weren’t really enthused about anything.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: The highest rating of the night on any network was the 1.4 for LAST MAN STANDING, up 0.1 from last week. CRISTELA was also up 0.1 to 1.0. After 1.2 for a SHARK TANK rerun, 20/20 lost 0.3 to 1.3.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE dropped 0.4 from Wednesday’s cycle premiere to 1.1, and HAWAII 5-0 fell 0.3 to 1.1. The night concluded with 0.7 for a BLUE BLOODS rerun.
FOX: WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS and GLEE were steady at 0.8/0.6.
CW: HART OF DIXIE stayed at 0.4, and then reruns of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY were at 0.3/0.4.
NBC: DATELINE was up 0.2 to 1.2, airing after a rerun of THE NIGHT SHIFT at 0.5.
NBC airs a primetime NHL game tonight and ABC has a Shania Twain special, otherwise it’s the usual Saturday assortment of reruns. Sunday, however, will be much busier. Now that the February parade of Sunday events is over, 3 networks will be premiering new series: ABC with SECRETS & LIES, CBS with BATTLE CREEK and FOX with THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. In addition, PBS airs the season finale of DOWNTON ABBEY.
