With SHARK TANK in reruns, nothing on network TV topped a 1.3 rating.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING and CRISTELA aired crossover episodes last night, which didn’t do much for LAST MAN (down 0.1 to 1.2), but helped out CRISTELA (up 0.2 to 1.0). The SHARK TANK rerun was at 1.1, then 20/20 fell 0.3 to 0.8.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE and BLUE BLOODS were each down 0.1, to 1.2 and 1.3 respectively, and HAWAII 5-0 was steady at 1.2.
NBC: GRIMM held at its series low 1.0. A rerun DATELINE hour was at 1.0, then a new hour was up 0.3 to 1.3.
FOX: A run of the theatrical 21 JUMP STREET was at 0.7.
CW: Seasonal special HERE COMES PETER COTTONTAIL was at 0.4, the same score as two reruns of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY.
The most interesting airing in primetime tonight is the debut of the second half of OUTLANDER’s first season on Starz. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is hosted by Michael Keaton, with musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen. Although FOX is taking Easter Sunday off, and ABC is airing its annual run of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, it will be a busy night elsewhere. NBC launches its Spring Sunday schedule of AD: THE BIBLE CONTINUES and AMERICAN ODYSSEY, and PBS begins airing WOLF HALL. On cable, HBO has the first half of its Frank Sinatra documentary ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL, and WGN premieres Season 2 of SALEM. Towering over all of them, however–in cultural significance if not in ratings–is the first of the 7 final episodes of AMC’s MAD MEN.
