The addition of MAN WITH A PLAN didn’t help CBS.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
CBS: After a steady 1.2 for KEVIN CAN WAIT, the season premiere of MAN WITH A PLAN tied its series low 1.0. SUPERIOR DONUTS fell 0.1 to 0.9, then 9JKL and SCORPION were both at last week’s 0.8.
ABC: The network was preempted in both Miami and Charlotte for MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, so the ratings are subject to adjustment this afternoon. For now, DANCING WITH THE STARS is up 0.3 to 1.5, and THE GOOD DOCTOR is consistent with its last rating 2 weeks ago at 1.9.
NBC: THE VOICE slipped 0.1 to 1.9, and THE BRAVE remained at 1.0.
FOX: LUCIFER stayed at 1.0, but THE GIFTED dropped 0.1 to 0.9.
CW: SUPERGIRL held at 0.5, while VALOR lost 0.1 to 0.2.
There are finales tonight for NBC’s LAW & ORDER: TRUE CRIME and FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
