SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.16.2020

NOTE: Both CBS and CW numbers below are inflated somewhat by local pre-emptions for NFL MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL in Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago, respectively. Precise L+SD program ratings available later today.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  DANCING WITH THE STARS (0.8) and THE GOOD DOCTOR (0.5) were down 0.1.

CBS:  As noted above, the CBS premieres may come down in final numbers.  Currently, THE NEIGHBORHOOD is at 0.9, BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA is at 0.7, ALL RISE is at 0.6, and BULL is at 0.5.  Last year’s premieres had those shows respectively at 0.9/0.9/0.7/0.7.

NBC:  THE VOICE dropped 0.1 to 0.9, and WEAKEST LINK held at 0.5.

FOX:  LA’S FINEST (0.3) and FILTHY RICH (0.2) each lost 0.1.

CW:  The NFL preeemptions may explain the current odd result where the rerun WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY (0.3) has a higher rating than the new WHOSE LINE (0.2) and PENN & TELLER: FOOL US (0.2).

The  CBS Tuesday line-up returns tonight, and ABC premieres BIG SKY.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Monday cable programs and broadcast finals.
