FOX: The debut of FOX’s regular Friday night line-up didn’t go very well. The costs of a Friday move were high for BONES, which plunged 0.8 from this past Monday to a new low 1.2, also down 0.3 from last week’s MasterChef Jr in that slot. It was only able to edge past NBC in the 8PM hour. Even that number looked good compared to 0.7 for the return of RAISING HOPE, just barely above what a Sleepy Hollow rerun had done at 9PM last week, and less than half the rating of any other non-CW network in the hour.
NBC: The absence of Sleepy Hollow (even in rerun form) at 9PM seemed to help GRIMM, which rose 0.2 to 1.5, tying CBS for 2d place in the hour. But that didn’t do anything for DRACULA, which fell another 0.1 to 0.9. The night started with 1.1 for DATELINE, up 0.1 from last week.
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING was off 0.1 to 1.3, and THE NEIGHBORS, a week after its SHARK TANK stunt, fell 0.2 to 0.9. Shark Tank itself dropped 0.3 to 1.7 (still the highest rated show of the night), and 20/20 slipped 0.1 to 1.3.
CBS: UNDERCOVER BOSS, although the winner at 8PM, fell 0.2 to 1.6. HAWAII 5-0 and BLUE BLOODS, however, were each up 0.1 to 1.5/1.4, the latter narrowly taking the 10PM hour.
CW: When you’re THE CARRIE DIARIES, even a 0.1 rise is good news, and the show climbed that much to 0.4. AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was also up 0.1 to 0.5 for its cycle finale.
College Football occupies two networks tonight, with CBS featuring a special commemorating the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination. In late night, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE hands both hosting and musical duties to Lady Gaga. Sunday gives us a special preview airing of ALMOST HUMAN at 8PM on FOX, followed by a special SIMPSONS/FAMILY GUY hour.

CW: The premiere of the final season of NIKITA may make CW wonder why it bothered, with a virtually invisible 0.2. That was even worse than the 0.3 for THE CARRIE DIARIES, even with last week. NBC: After more than a week of JFK specials, those interested had likely been…

NBC’s undead are starting to look like corpses. NBC: Just 3 weeks into its season, GRIMM is down to 1.3, already as low as the show scored all last spring. That’s down half a point from its season debut 2 weeks ago, and down 0.2 from last week. It…

Whatever Undercover Boss did last night, it should do that again. CBS: On a mostly quiet network night, UNDERCOVER BOSS zoomed by half a ratings point to 1.8–not quite the biggest show of the evening, but close. The rest of the line-up didn’t fare as well, as both HAWAII…
