SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.2.2019

A 55-year old holiday special dominated the night… with an asterisk, for now.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  Local preemption for MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL may lead to adjustments in finals.  For now, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER is far ahead of the competition at 1.5, with reruns afterward at 0.7/0.6.

ABC:  The season premiere of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT was at 0.7, down 0.2 from the 2018 premiere.  THE GOOD DOCTOR held last week’s 0.9.

NBC:  THE VOICE was steady at 1.1.  The holiday premiere of MAKING IT was down an ugly 0.6 from the August 2018 series premiere to 0.5 (on par with the recent ratings for BLUFF CITY LAW).

FOX:  9-1-1 gained 0.1 to 1.4, and PRODIGAL SON stayed at 0.7.

CW:  ALL AMERICAN (0.2) and BLACK LIGHTNING (0.2) were steady.

Tonight’s specials include ABC’s BRAD PAISLEY THINKS HE’S SPECIAL and CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back Wednesday morning for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day, delayed by the long holiday weekend.
