SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.8.2019

College basketball domination.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  The NCAA TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP game was at 4.4, which is below the 4.83 for last year’s combined telecast on TBS, TNT and Tru (and also below the last CBS airing 2 years ago at 7.1).  However, those were adjusted numbers, so we’ll see how final ratings play out this afternoon.  The night started with 1.8 for a BIG BANG THEORY rerun.

ABC:  AMERICAN IDOL (1.1) and THE FIX (0.5) were steady.

NBC:  THE VOICE fell 0.3 to 1.2, and THE ENEMY WITHIN was down 0.2 to 0.6.

CW:  LEGENDS OF TOMORROW rose 0.1 to 0.3, followed by a rerun of ARROW at 0.1.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.5/0.5.

Tonight features the premieres of FX’s FOSSE/VERDON, Freeform’s THE BOLD TYPE and CBS’s THE CODE, the latter prior to its regular timeslot airing next Monday.  In addition, ABC airs the season finale of SPLITTING UP TOGETHER.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
