SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 12.5.2016

Even VICTORIA’S SECRET is feeling ratings erosion.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  KEVIN CAN WAIT held its 1.5 from 2 weeks ago, but MAN WITH A PLAN was down 0.1 to 1.2, and 2 BROKE GIRLS was down 0.2 to 1.2.  The network had so little confidence in THE ODD COUPLE as a lead-in that it substituted a 1.4 BIG BANG THEORY rerun, but the VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW dropped 0.2 from 2015 anyway to a new low 2.1.

NBC:  THE VOICE slipped 0.1 to 2.0, and TIMELESS was up 0.1 to 1.2, but those numbers could shift in finals this afternoon.

FOX:  SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO wasn’t terribly special at 1.1.

ABC:  Both MONDAY  NIGHT FOOTBALL cities (including NY) simulcast the game, so adjustment is likely this afternoon.  For now, the season premiere of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT is at 1.3, and CONVICTION is at 0.8.

CW:  SUPERGIRL reruns at 0.4/0.3.

Tonight’s midseason finales include NBC’s THIS IS US, and CW’s THE FLASH.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
