THE SKED’S MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7/29/13

Perhaps the networks should consider combining Monday’s two successful shows for a dating series that takes place under a giant glass–wait, that’s what reality television is already.

Daily Comparison 2013 Mon Jul 29

CBS:  One of the largest-scale episodes of UNDER THE DOME since the pilot stayed essentially steady, down 0.1 to 2.7 and the highest-rated show of the night.  The preceding reruns were marked by 1.3s for 2 BROKE GIRLS and MIKE & MOLLY.

ABC:  As THE BACHELORETTE nears its season finale, it jumped up 0.4 to a very healthy 2.3.  That helped MISTRESSES park up 0.1 to 1.3, even though a key plot point on the show is being artificially delayed so much that the show is turning into the soap opera version of The Killing.

NBC:  A terrible night for the line-up, with new lows all around:  1.5 (down 0.1) for AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR, 1.2 (down 0.2) for GET OUT ALIVE, and 0.7 (down 0.1) for SIBERIA.

FOX:  Reruns, all at 0.5-0.6.

CW:  BREAKING POINTE held at its lousy 0.2, below the 0.3 for its lead-in rerun of HART OF DIXIE.

CW debuts its new Hunger Games-ey reality show CAPTURE tonight, and apart from that it’s the usual summer Tuesday, with some new programming on every network except CBS.
