NETWORK UPDATE: DATELINE slipped 0.1 from its early number, but CROSSBONES held steady. On ABC, both WHAT WOULD YOU DO? and the SHARK TANK rerun rose 0.1.
FRIDAY CABLE: WWE (Syfy) was on top with 0.8, up 0.2 from last week. DINERS, DRIVE-INS & DIVES (Food Channel) and a History Channel special D-DAY IN 3D were both at 0.5. Incidentally, people who watch Adult Swim don’t appear to sleep: episodes of MUNGO WRESTLING ALLIANCE and MARY SHELLEY’S FRANKENHOLE at 4AM and 4:15AM were also at 0.5.
Another dead network Friday night.
NBC: CROSSBONES held up pretty well from last week’s premiere, down 0.1 from its adjusted number to 0.9. Earlier in the evening, a D-Day-themed BRIAN WILLIAMS REPORTS special was at 0.9, and DATELINE was at 1.3, the same as last week’s 2-hour episode.
ABC: The whole evening was up, as WHAT WOULD YOU DO? rose 0.2 to 1.3, and 20/20 gained 0.1 to 1.5 (the highest-rated show of the night). Even the 8PM SHARK TANK rerun climbed 0.1 to 1.1.
CBS: Reruns, highlighted by 0.7 for UNDERCOVER BOSS.
FOX: Reruns, led by 0.6 for MASTERCHEF.
CW: Reruns, led by 0.5 for the 8:30PM WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY.
The STANLEY CUP FINALS face off with MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL in primetime tonight, and ABC airs its cheap reality programming. Sunday will be dominated by ABC’s NBA FINALS Game 2, while the prestigious but low-rated TONY AWARDS have their night on CBS, and NBC airs the MISS USA pageant. On FOX, COSMOS has its season finale, as does VEEP on HBO and TURN on AMC.
