NETWORK UPDATE: CROSSBONES can’t seem to hold onto a 0.6 rating, as it dropped again to a timbers-shivering 0.5. 20/20 climbed 0.1.
FRIDAY CABLE: Syfy’s WWE led the cable evening, up 0.1 to 0.8 amid the many FAMILY GUY and ROBOT CHICKEN reruns. Its leadout THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSONS held onto very little of that at 0.21. GIRL MEETS WORLD (Disney) was next behind wrestling, but dropped 0.1 to 0.5.
NBC: On another “why do we bother?” summer Friday for the networks (as the chart below indicates, most of the people watching were over 50 years old), DATELINE and CROSSBONES are currently up 0.1 from last week at 1.2 and 0.6–but that’s exactly where they were in last week’s early numbers, and both dropped 0.1 when final ratings came in.
ABC: WHAT WOULD YOU DO? is currently at 0.9 (same as last week’s early number, which went up 0.1 in finals), and 20/20 is at 1.3 (same as last week’s final, which had gone up 0.1 from early numbers).
CBS: Reruns, led by 0.7 for BLUE BLOODS.
FOX: Reruns, led by 0.5 for MASTERCHEF.
CW: Reruns, topped by 0.3 for WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY.
Saturday primetime continues to be a “no-watch” zone for the networks, unless you’re a fan of burned-off Bad Teacher episodes. Sunday’s event is on Lifetime, where THE LOTTERY makes its debut.
