SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 10.27.2019

Sports on two networks.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

FOX:  The preliminary 2.4 for Game 5 of the WORLD SERIES was far below last year’s early 3.9 for the parallel game (which was last year’s final game of the Series), partly because in 2018 FOX had the late afternoon national NFL game.

CBS:  This year CBS had the afternoon boost, so comparisons are to 2 weeks ago.  60 MINUTES was up 0.2 to 2.3, GOD FRIENDED ME was steady at 0.9, NCIS: LA lost 0.1 to 0.7, and MADAM SECRETARY held at 0.5.

ABC:  After a 1-hour rerun of IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN at 0.7, KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS rose 0.2 to 0.8, SHARK TANK was down 0.1 to 0.5, and THE ROOKIE was steady at 0.6.

NBC:  The preliminary 5.1 for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was down 0.7 from last week’s early number.

CW:  BATWOMAN (0.3) and SUPERGIRL (0.2) were steady.

Tonight marks the end for HBO’s THE DEUCE.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
