SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 5.3.2020

 

The experiment of running a vintage theatrical movie in primetime didn’t work out badly.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The first new AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS since April 5 dropped 0.3 to 0.7.  AMERICAN IDOL dipped 0.1 to 0.9.  THE ROOKIE was steady at 0.7.

CBS:  After 60 MINUTES fell 0.2 to 0.7, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK was at a respectable 0.6.

NBC:  LITTLE BIG SHOTS held at 0.3.  THE WALL (0.5), the season finale of ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (0.4) and the last available episode of GOOD GIRLS (0.4) were all up 0.1.

FOX:  After reruns at 0.0.2/0.2, THE SIMPSONS was steady at 0.5, DUNCANVILLE lost 0.1 to 0.3, BOB’S BURGERS stayed at 0.5, and FAMILY GUY was down 0.1 to 0.5.

CW:  BATWOMAN remained at 0.2, and the first new SUPERGIRL since March 22 was down 0.1 to 0.1.

Tonight, ALL RISE becomes the first scripted drama to attempt a remote-produced episode, which will also serve as the season finale.  In addition, AMC begins airing the CREEPSHOW episodes produced for its Shudder service, and HBO has the season finale of MY BRILLIANT FRIEND.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
