Another Sunday with Game of Thrones probably beating everything on broadcast TV.
CBS: BIG BROTHER was the highest-rated show on the networks last night, with a 2.2 that was about 10% below the show’s Sunday premiere last year. That wasn’t enough to give CBS the nightly win, because nothing else on the schedule was higher than 60 MINUTES‘ 1.0.
ABC: Tied for the win, even though its highest rated show of the night was SECRET MILLIONAIRE with a 1.5. EXTREME MAKEOVER WEIGHT LOSS EDITION was a tick lower at 1.4, and AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS had a 1.2.
FOX: Animated reruns were enough for a tie as highest-rated network for the night, sparked by 1.7/1.8 for a pair of FAMILY GUY retreads.
NBC Bringing up the rear, with 1.0 for an AMERICA’S GOT TALENT rerun the highest it could manage.
NBC, ABC and FOX have original unscripted programming tonight, with CBS in reruns. CW is airing what may be a time-buy: 2 runs of a “documentary” about the Batmobile, timed of course to air just prior to the premiere of the new Batman movie. On cable, TNT will we scrutinizing its Week 2 numbers for Perception, and on Syfy, Eureka hangs up its lab coat for the last time.
