Summer: when the network airing reruns beats all the networks with new programming.
CBS: BIG BROTHER was the highest rated show of the night with a preliminary 1.9 (starting 20 minutes late, like the rest of the network’s line-up, due to a golf overrun), but the reruns afterward were so low that the network was edged out for the win.
NBC: A new low 0.5 for CROSSING LINES, which couldn’t keep up with the 0.7/0.8 reruns that preceded it.
ABC: CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP and WHODUNNIT were both up from last week (by 0.3 to 1.2 and by 0.1 to 1.1), but the network was foiled by more low reruns.
FOX: The night’s winner, thanks to a line-up of animations that repeat well. The highlight, as usual, was FAMILY GUY with a 1.5.
Tonight features the usual summer Monday mix of new programming (including UNDER THE DOME) and reruns, the only oddity being CW’s first original show in weeks, an IHEARTRADIO ULTIMATE POOL PARTY concert special.
