SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 10.12.2017

 

CW’s Thursday premieres were fairly steady.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

CW:  SUPERNATURAL (0.7) and ARROW (0.6) were both down 0.1 from their 2016 premieres, although ARROW had a tougher timeslot last fall, opening up Wednesday nights with no lead-in.

ABC:  GREY’S ANATOMY slipped 0.1 to 2.0, SCANDAL fell 0.2 from last week’s season premiere to 1.2, and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER was up 0.1 to 1.0.

NBC:  SUPERSTORE lost 0.1 to 1.1, and THE GOOD PLACE was steady at 1.2.  WILL & GRACE, while still the dominant show in the night’s line-up, fell another 0.3 to 1.7, while GREAT NEWS held at 1.0.  CHICAGO FIRE was down 0.1 to 1.1.

FOX:  GOTHAM shed 0.1 to 0.8, and THE ORVILLE was up 0.1 to 1.0.

CBS:  At 3.1, the preliminary THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL rating is down 0.1 from last week’s early number.

Tonight, JANE THE VIRGIN and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND complete the roll-out of CW’s schedule.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
