SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 4.4.2019

 

The CBS Thursday line-up returned from its NCAA break.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  With the exception of FAM, the line-up hadn’t aired new episodes since March 7.  THE BIG BANG THEORY dropped 0.2 to a series-low 1.9, YOUNG SHELDON was steady at 1.4, MOM slipped 0.1 to 1.1, FAM lost 0.2 to 0.7 (steady with its March 14 episode on a rerun night), and SWAT fell 0.2 to 0.7. 

CW:  SUPERNATURAL returned from a rerun week down 0.1 to 0.3, and then the series premiere of IN THE DARK was soft at 0.2.

ABC:  GREY’S ANATOMY (1.5) and STATION 19 (0.9) were down 0.1, and FOR THE PEOPLE held at 0.6.

NBC:  Everything was steady:  SUPERSTORE at 0.8, AP BIO at 0.5, the season finale of WILL & GRACE at 0.7, ABBY’S at 0.5, and SVU (returning from a week off) at 0.8.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.3/0.3.

Tonight, the CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND experience comes to an end on CW, with the series finale followed by a 1-hour music special.  In addition, WARRIOR premieres on CInemax.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
