A slow July 4th for televised fireworks.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

NBC:  The MACY’S 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR was at 0.9, down 0.3 from the 2018 edition.  A shortened repeat followed at 0.8.

CBS:  The only other original programming of the night was an episode of ELEMENTARY, down 0.1 to 0.3.  It was preceded by reruns at 0.3-0.4.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.3-0.4.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.4/0.3.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

The holiday weekend continues tonight with little in the way of original content.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back TUESDAY morning for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day, delayed by the Independence Day holiday weekend.
