The night was a bout between basketball and soaps.

CBS:  The night’s broadcast NCAA TOURNAMENT games in the Sweet 16 round were at a preliminary 2.1/1.9, similar to where the parallel games were last year.

ABC:  GREY’S ANATOMY dipped 0.1 to 1.9, SCANDAL was down 0.1 to 1.3, and THE CATCH held at 0.7.

NBC:  As was the case last Thursday, a new 1.1 SUPERSTORE preceded a rerun TRIAL & ERROR, but this time the rerun was down 0.1 to 0.7.  After a 0.8 CHICAGO MED rerun, a new THE BLACKLIST: REDEMPTION remained at 0.7.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF JR (1.1) and KICKING AND SCREAMING (0.6) were steady.

CW:  SUPERNATURAL reruns at 0.3/0.3.

The NCAA TOURNAMENT continues tonight on CBS and TBS.  

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
