SHOWBUZZDAILY TUESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 10.3.2017

 

ABC’s new shows had OK premieres.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

ABC:  THE MIDDLE’s season premiere was down 0.2 from 2016 to 1.6, and FRESH OFF THE BOAT dropped 0.3 from last season (which aired at 9PM) to 1.3.  BLACK-ISH made its Tuesday premiere at 1.5, down half a point from 2016 (on a Wednesday, and with a 2.6 lead-in from MODERN FAMILY).  THE MAYOR premiered at 1.2 (the same rating as last season’s REAL O’NEALS season premiere), and KEVIN (PROBABLY) SAVES THE WORLD started at 1.0 (up 0.1 from AGENTS OF SHIELD).

NBC:  Things settled in after last week’s big numbers, as THE VOICE dropped half a point to 2.2, and THIS IS US fell 0.8 to 3.1.  LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME: THE MENENDEZ KILLINGS was down 0.4 to 1.2, still enough to win the hour.

CBS:  NCIS shed 0.2 to 1.4, BULL slipped 0.1 to 1.2, and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was steady at 1.0.

FOX:  LETHAL WEAPON was down 0.1 to 1.1, and both THE MICK (0.9) and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (0.7) were steady.

CW:  Following a 0.2 rerun of THE FLASH, MACHINIMA’S CHASING THE CUP was at 0.1.

After 10 nights of nonstop premieres, tonight’s network line-up is stable with last week. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
