Baseball’s ALL-STAR GAME held fairly steady.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
FOX: The preliminary 2.1 for the MLB ALL-STAR GAME was down 0.1 from last year’s early rating (which then adjusted up 0.1 in finals).
NBC: AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was steady at 2.1, and WORLD OF DANCE was down 0.1 to 1.2.
CW: THE 100 dropped 0.1 to 0.2, and THE OUTPOST gained 0.1 from last week’s premiere to 0.2.
ABC: After sitcom reruns at 0.4-0.6, THE LAST DEFENSE lost 0.1 to 0.4.
CBS: Procedural reruns at 0.4-0.6.
Tonight, CBS’s CODE BLACK finishes its run, a victim more of economics and corporate issues than low ratings. On cable, USA’s refurbished SUITS returns, now without Patrick J. Adams and the royal Meghan Markle, but with Katherine Heigl to compensate.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
