AMERICA’S GOT TALENT remained the strongest Tuesday show on the networks, but at a slightly lower level.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
CBS: ZOO declined 0.1 from last week’s premiere to 1.1, a solid hold, and comfortably above the 0.8 reruns that sandwiched it.
NBC: After AMERICA’S GOT TALENT fell 0.3 to 2.2, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT arrived with the same 1.5 that I CAN DO THAT had last week in the slot.
ABC: EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS lost 0.1 to 0.6, on par with the reruns that preceded it.
FOX: ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER, preempted last week, fell 0.1 from 2 weeks ago to 0.6, and it was followed by a 0.5 BULLSEYE rerun.
CW: Reruns at twin 0.4s.
Tonight’s cable line-up includes the latest genre spoof from Will Ferrell and Funny Or Die, THE SPOILS BEFORE DYING on IFC, and also features the return of CATFISH to MTV.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
